Music EP by Ya Ani (Ofer Ronen) in collaboration with Michael Gadish

How can one dance in these times? That was the question that ignited this journey between Ofer Ronen (Ya Ani) and Michael Gadish.

We began by looking, and to keep from sinking, we searched for hope. Little by little, we reached dance – and the water that transforms everything.

We see ourselves as part of a long history that is now in crisis; that’s why we draw inspiration from ancient texts and emotions, to question our role in the world as it is today.

La Mirada is not a political album, but we don’t recommend dancing while ignoring our shadow, because we might fall very deep. Sometimes true vision opens when we dare to lower our eyelids.
