LABA project:
“Playing With My-Self” is a series of drawings, sculptures, and video works. The protagonists of the project are broken, boiled down to a hand, a leg, and ahead in different constellations. In the video, they try to transform themselves, joining together to make hybrid creatures, in a constant process of becoming, of remaking the self, contemplating on the connection between the psyche and the physical. The series addresses the constant evolution of the self as we’re working to incorporate the many broken selves that we’re made of.
If you could break something, what would it be?
