New art inspired by classical Jewish texts exploring the tensions surrounding BEAUTY. Hear new writing read and discussed by LABA Fellows Gon Ben Ari, Jessica Gross and Gal Beckerman partnered with a teaching from Reuben Namdar.



Can propaganda be beautiful? An exploration of the work of the New York Photo League, the group of photographers who tried to use their cameras to make social change.


In “Black Box,” a young woman volunteering at a soup kitchen meets an extremely handsome homeless man, quite conflicted about his beauty.


What is beautiful in the mind of a millennial? Modern technology is changing our brains, and with them, our concepts of beauty. This metamorphosis could provide a comfortable platform for the discussion of ancient Kabbalistic ideas.
